Step 1:

Go to and log in using the username and password you created when applying for your license.

Please note: This website is only compatible with Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. It is not compatible with Google Chrome.

Step 2:

Scroll down and select ‘NYS License Center,’ and then select ‘Manage My Licenses.’ Select the license with the status ‘Eligible for Exam.’

Step 3:

On the next screen, confirm your information is correct. Then, scroll down and click ‘Schedule Examination.’

Step 4:

Select the written examination you wish to take and in your preferred language.

You’ll be redirected to a page with available scheduled dates, locations to take the examination, and how many spots are available. Select the option that works best for you. For the Manhattan location, be sure to select the one that says ‘New York.’

Step 5:

On the confirmation page, double-check that all the information is correct. Select ‘Pay Now’ and then ‘Continue Shopping.’

Step 6:

Go back to ‘Manage My Licenses’  and select the license with the status ‘Eligible for Exam.’ On the following page, you’ll see the first exam you scheduled.

Step 7:

Click on ‘Schedule an Examination’ and select the specific practical examination you wish to take. You should be able to see an option for Manhattan/New York at 91̽»¨ International School. Select this one on your preferred date.

Step 8:

On the confirmation page, double-check that all the information is correct. Select ‘Pay Now’ to go to the checkout page and pay your $30 examination fees ($15 each).

Click ‘Checkout’ and enter your billing and credit or debit card information. Once your payment has been submitted, you’ll be redirected to a confirmation page.
